Car oui, à n'en point douter, Jamie est un enfant trognon comme on n'en fait plus. Mais en plus d'être sacrément mignon, il est aussi très utile aux intrigues de la série et ne sert pas juste à faire joli. Il est d'ailleurs, pour beaucoup, le meilleur "nouveau personnage" que les scénaristes des Frères Scott aient réussi à intégrer depuis le début de la série.
Pour faire simple : Jamie est l'enfant dont tout le monde rêve. Il aime danser, chanter, il donne de sacrés bons conseils de vie à ses "amis" et semble même parfois plus adultes qu'eux. Très intelligent et mature pour son âge, il sait se débrouiller mais évidemment, comme tous les personnages des Frères Scott, il a déjà eu sa dose de tragédies. Entre un père dépressif en fauteuil roulant, une nounou timbrée qui a cherché à séparer ses parents avant de le kidnapper, un grand-père tueur qu'il aime beaucoup, l'assassinat de son copain Quentin, Jamie pourrait faire comme son oncle... et écrire un roman.
